为什么中国学生录取变少?——耶鲁、哈佛大学教授有话说近年来,美国藤校招收的中国学生越来越少。

美国大学注册和招生人员协会调查研究发现,参与调查的250所美国院校中,中国本科申请者减少的占25%,中国研究生申请者减少的占32%。 对于中国学生申请减少的现象,有关学者认为是政策的“歧视”演变。 但美国高校在减少招收中国留学生数量的同时,也给出了一定原因,耶鲁大学教授认为,主要原因还是在学生自身。

这位教授表示,中国学生思维方式僵化、偏执,社会交往能力差,除了自己狭窄的专业外,不知道怎么跟人打交道、怎么表达自己,对此,他感到非常痛心。 教授指出,过去很多年以来的中国学生,开始学习成绩都很好,后来做博士论文研究时虽然未必突出,但还可以,可是等到毕业上学术市场找教职岗位时,表现都不好,没办法找到一流大学的教职。

并且,中国学生出国后多数喜欢“抱团”,一方面因为文化和语言难以融入当地,一方面是因为寂寞和在异国的害怕。 不只是耶鲁大学,哈佛大学教授也曾表示,中国留学生更热衷“抱团”,这样不仅影响语言和文化的融入交流,还对融入当地朋友圈缺乏主动性,这种习惯养成后在他们走入外企职场后就会显露出弊端。
